The Opportunity

In this role, you won't just be "cooking"—you’ll be a leader. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the daily rhythm of the kitchen, mentor the junior team, and have a real voice in our future menus and specials. If you are a Senior Chef de Partie hungry for a promotion or an experienced Junior Sous looking for a fresh start, this is your stage.
What You’ll Do
- Standards & Service: Maintain paramount standards in food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Team Mentorship: Use your experience to coach and train the team, helping them achieve their own development goals.
- Menu Input: Relish the opportunity to contribute creative ideas for new menus and daily specials.
- Operational Control: Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including strict monitoring of daily hygiene and HACCP checks.
- Leadership: Confidently run the kitchen operation and manage all sections in the absence of the Executive or Sous Chef.
Who You Are
- A Fresh Food Specialist: You have a proven understanding of working with fresh produce and high-volume service.
- A Positive Leader: You bring a "can-do" attitude, a genuine personality, and the ability to stay calm and tactful under pressure.
- Experienced: You have a proven track record in a similar role or are an experienced CDP ready to step up.
- Organised: Strong planning skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Communicator: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between the kitchen and management.
